A creamy and flavorful chicken pasta dish, perfect for a special dinner. Made with browned chicken, a rich Parmesan cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and seasonings, then tossed with pasta.
In a large pan, add olive oil and butter on medium heat and melt. Add chicken and cook until it reaches 165°F and is browned, then set it aside. Add garlic and chicken broth to deglaze the pan and bring to a light boil. Lower the heat and add heavy cream and cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted. Toss in all seasonings (red pepper flakes, oregano, ground thyme) and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Stir occasionally until the sauce has thickened. (If you desire a thicker sauce, you can add more cheese or a cornstarch slurry.) While the sauce is thickening, chop the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and add them back to the pan. Toss in the cooked pasta to coat with the sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
