Mix all cake ingredients til all clumps are gone, pour in a lightly greased cake pan and bake 35- 60 min depending on size of pan (mine took 60 cause the cake was too thick) or til toothpick comes out clean when put in center In mixing bowl add all icing ingredients being careful to add powdered sugar to not make a mess, mix til smooth and place icing in fridge 30 mins Once cake is out of oven, let cool completely before frosting or cake will melt the icing. Preheat oven to 350°.

For the Cake:

Mix all cake ingredients (cornbread mix, yellow cake mix, 1 2/3 cup milk, vegetable oil, and 5 eggs) in a bowl until all clumps are gone. Pour the batter into a lightly greased cake pan. Bake for 35-60 minutes, depending on the size of the pan (the poster's cake took 60 minutes due to thickness), or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

For the Icing:

While the cake bakes, in a separate mixing bowl, add all icing ingredients: 2 sticks softened butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tbsps milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 2-3 tbsp honey, and 1/2 tsp salt. Be careful when adding powdered sugar to avoid a mess. Mix until smooth. Place the icing in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up slightly.

Assembly:

Once the cake is out of the oven, let it cool completely before frosting. Frosting a warm cake will melt the icing. Enjoy!
