A comforting casserole featuring a savory ground beef and vegetable base topped with creamy mashed potatoes, crispy tater tots, and melted cheddar cheese.
1) Preheat oven to 425°F.
2) Brown meat in a pan, add onion while cooking.
3) When onions are translucent, add garlic, all seasonings, gravy packet, water, and all vegetables and cook until gravy is thickened.
4) Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9x13 pan, spreading evenly.
5) Top with cooked mashed potatoes, covering all of the mixture. (Note: Prepare instant mashed potatoes according to package directions, adding a little butter, salt, pepper, and OG Danos seasoning if desired).
6) Cover the top completely with tatertots and bake at 425°F for 30 minutes or until tots are crispy to your liking.
7) Cover the pan with cheese and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes to melt cheese until it starts to brown.
8) Let cool and serve.
